Walk Like an Egyptian Earrings

Two of the ancient Egyptians' favorite gemstones--lapis lazuli and carnelian--join sterling silver beads and ear wires in a delightful dance. The drop earrings measure approximately 1.75 inches.

Lapis lazuli is found across the sites of ancient Mesopotamia. It was used for beaded jewelry, the handles of royal weapons, and engraved cylinder-shaped seals to roll across wax or clay.
