Description
Fit for the fabled Queen of Egypt herself, this 38 inch necklace mixes lengths of textured gold-plated chain with gold-filled beads, and links of carnelian, turquoise and lapis lazuli beads. The gold-plated hook and eye clasp allows you to wear the necklace long or as a double strand.
The necklace works beautifully with the Cleopatra's Earrings.
Thought to be the earliest known and used gemstone—turquoise beads dating from circa 5000 BCE were found in Mesopotamia (present day Iraq). Turquoise is believed to bring prosperity to the wearer and symbolizes success and good fortune.
Carnelian beads were fashioned in Mesopotamia (present day Iraq) in the 7th century BCE; they are believed to boost energy, creativity, and determination.
